A Position Paper on Dignity, Compassion, and Justice

We, SamaePet, hereby raise our voice to the world.

We believe that the moral compass of a society is defined not by how it treats its most powerful, but by how it protects its most vulnerable. Over 100 million animals worldwide suffer from abuse, neglect, and exploitation every year. This is not merely a statistic; it is a collective moral failure.

Today, we officially issue the SamaePet Global Statement — this is our organization’s systematic position on animal welfare. We do not seek approval. We do not follow trends. We state what we believe, and we demand to be taken seriously.

Our Three Pillars

1. Legislation Must Be Elevated

We assert that nations must adopt stricter animal protection laws, modeled after the most progressive frameworks in the EU and the UK. We explicitly demand:

• Felony-level criminal penalties for aggravated animal cruelty;
• A complete ban on cosmetic animal testing;
• The phasing out of factory farming practices that prioritize profit over sentience.

This is not an optional recommendation. This is the minimum standard of a civilized society.

2. Technology Should Serve Protection, Not Indifference

We are deploying AI-driven monitoring and reporting tools through the SamaePet application. We believe modern technology should serve life, not enable apathy. Enabling the public to safely and anonymously report abuse, while equipping law enforcement with the digital tools necessary for efficient prosecution — this is what we are doing.

3. Empathy Must Be Taught

We believe cruelty is a learned behavior; empathy can be taught as well. We are advancing an empathy-based educational curriculum, partnering with schools and community leaders to redefine the human-animal relationship from the next generation onward. We do not regard animals as “pets.” We regard them as companions, sentient beings, and fellow travelers on this planet.

Why We Speak Out

We face an extinction crisis, a climate emergency, and a mental health pandemic — all of which are intrinsically linked to how we treat animals. Research demonstrates a clear correlation between animal cruelty and violent crime against humans. Protecting animals is, at its core, protecting humanity itself.
